Timmy's Genesis

I had this idea. Anyone who knows me has heard me say, “Hey, I want to create a fun comic strip series about the joyful experiences of learning.” I've been searching for a long time for a way to tell uplifting stories about education...stories that the community of parents, teachers, and students can relate to and connect with. I wanted to create characters who we would recognize. The reaction was always the same. "Why?"

Timmy’s Tutor was born out of my belief that learning should be a wonderful and fulfilling experience. I have a personal desire to leave each reader with a chuckle in their heart, a smile on their face, and a sense of hope for the children who will inherit our planet.

My hope is that Timmy’s Tutor will impact the global community and perhaps inspire a child to explore the depths of the oceans or travel to the outer reaches of the universe. I dream of connecting a student to learning in such a way that their path creates a “ripple effect" which will lead to new discoveries to keep our planet and its people safe, healthy, and happy.
