When I was growing up my dad and I would read Calvin and Hobbies every Sunday together. For those of you that know a little about me you know that I am dyslexic. Reading Calvin and Hobbies with my dad helped to spark my interest in reading.
This particular Calvin and Hobbies YouTube video is endearing and a joy to share with you. Too Cool For School.... well my wish is that we show how Timmy makes learning Too Cool Too!
Timmy's Tutor is a new cartoon concept and I hope that you will find it endearing and a joy to share with your friends, family and teachers too. Enjoy! A bit of fun in the traditional Disney style!
Hope you have enjoyed time with your father and families today! Enjoy and share our comic with the men that we all called DAD!
A thaumatrope is the simplest of all animation devices. By drawing a picture on either side of a card and then spinning it you will see that they seem to blend together. When you spin the card quickly the images will seem to blend together to make one single image.

Now make a new thaumatrope...maybe a bumblebee. But this time draw the whole bumblebee. On one side draw his wings low and high on the other. Now spin your thaumatrope; this time slowly. Does it look like his wings are moving?
You can make all kinds of little movies with thaumatropes. Just use your imagination. Have fun!
If you are like all of us here at Timmy's Tutor...you probably have children...and lots of funny situations to share. We'd love to hear your ideas! Drop our cartoonist a note and tell him your story. You might see it magically transformed into a "Timmy Adventure". But there is some fine print. There is no guarantee that we will use your idea. Any story ideas submitted to Timmy's Tutor will become the property of Timmy's Tutor and there will be no compensation for any used in future cartoons.
